It is with great pleasure, on behalf of the Molecular Genetics Society of Australasia that we extend a warm invitation to our conference. This is 2 day comprehensive Conference, commencing on Sunday Evening the 1st of August and finishing at Tuesday 3rd August afternoon. The meeting will satellite the 8th Australasian Mutation Detection Meeting that will be held at the same venue from Tuesday 3rd August afternoon until Friday 6th August afternoon.
This meeting will take place at Cradle Mountain, Tasmania - in the hearland of Australia's wilderness. It will be held at the Cradle Mountain Chateau, which is situated just outside the Cradle Mountain National Park. We therefore encourage you to participate by registering and submitting your abstract for an oral or poster presentation, or simply join us to meet others within the clinical, molecular genetics and pathology community. So, come along and immerse yourself in, not only an educational meeting, but also a warm and friendly meeting. You can do all this while enjoying the fantastic surroundings and experiences Tasmania has to offer.

The Molecular Genetics Society of Australasia invites submissions of abstracts for the annual meeting. You are welcome to attend the meeting without submitting an abstract. Only those registering are able to submit abstracts.Details

- 2nd Bus arrives from Launceston airport at approx. 5.15pm (departs airport 215 pm; this fits with flights Australia-wide)
- Registration & Welcome Reception 6.00 - 8.00 PM
- Registration; 8.00 AM - 8.30 AM
- Meeting begins; 8.30 AM - 6.00 PM
- Dinner - to be held offsite at Cradle Mountain Lodge
- Meeting continues and ends 3.30 PM
- OPTIONAL MGSA/MUTATION DETECTION CROSSOVER session begins 4.00 PM (for those not registered to Mut Det you need to take out this optional package to attend)
- Those wishing to depart need to leave early on 13.00 bus back to Launceston in order to catch flights on time
- Another bus will be available Wednesday 4th at 10.00 am for flights the next day.
